Senior Finance Operations Analyst

About the role

Join Glovo’s Finance Team as a Senior Finance Operations Analyst and help shape financial decisions that drive the business forward across multiple markets. You will own the month‑end closing process, forecasting, and annual planning while partnering with commercial, operations, and marketing leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Drive timely execution of the Month‑End Closing (MEC) reporting pipeline, monthly Best Estimation (BE) forecasts, and annual Business Planning (BP) models.
• Create executive‑friendly reports with concise summaries, financial analysis, and key business insights.
• Develop and enhance data‑validation processes to identify and resolve financial anomalies, missing postings, and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintain the structural integrity of the localized P&L through accurate group mapping, classification, and allocation of income and expenses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis processes.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to local department leads, providing insights, profitability modeling, cost‑optimization recommendations, and promotional ROI evaluation.
• Provide high‑stakes ad‑hoc analytical support to the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (Master’s a plus).
• 3+ years of progressive experience in Corporate FP&A, Financial Analysis, Controlling, or top‑tier audit environments.
• Professional fluency in English (written and verbal).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including pivot tables).
• Google Sheets.
• Strong understanding of IFRS standards and practical application.
• Free Cash Flow (FCF) analysis.
• Working Capital management.
• Financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Data validation and anomaly detection.
