Senior Payroll Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Accountant to join ROX Group’s finance team in Bishkek. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees while complying with Kyrgyz tax and labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full monthly payroll cycle, including calculation of salaries, bonuses, overtime, sick leave, vacation pay and other employee benefits.
• Calculate and remit payroll‑related taxes and social contributions in accordance with the Kyrgyz Tax Code.
• Maintain payroll records, reconcile related accounting accounts and prepare payroll journals.
• Prepare payroll registers, tax filings, social security reports and supporting documentation.
• Monitor legislative changes affecting payroll and implement necessary process adjustments.
• Provide payroll and tax‑deduction guidance to employees.
• Support internal and external audits by supplying required payroll documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality of payroll data and employee personal information.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting with a strong focus on payroll.
• In‑depth knowledge of the Kyrgyz Republic Tax Code and labour legislation.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 1C accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
