About the role

ITMS Russia is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support the financial management of its marketing investments across a portfolio of well‑known tobacco and nicotine‑free brands. The role combines analytical rigor with proactive risk management to drive profitable decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate the efficiency of marketing investments, analyze material write‑offs, identify risks and support the development of action plans.
• Prepare data for management reporting (P&L), analyse variances, build financial models and scenario calculations.
• Detect risks early, develop scenario models and facilitate data‑driven decisions.
• Manage monthly and annual closing of marketing spend, including accruals, adjustments, loss identification and accurate accounting in 1C.
• Participate in budgeting cycles, consolidate and critically review departmental plans for consumer marketing and expenses.
• Coordinate with multiple departments, lead meetings, document agreements and brief senior leadership.
• Contribute to the automation and improvement of financial tools and reports.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, economics or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in financial analysis, budgeting or controlling; FMCG or marketing investment experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of managerial reporting, cost and revenue accounting principles.
• Familiarity with primary documentation and tax legislation.
• Excellent analytical abilities, comfortable handling large data sets.
• Proactive communication skills, able to identify risks and propose solutions.
