About the role

ITMS Russia is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to lead category strategy, drive cost optimisation and manage supplier relationships for its tobacco and nicotine product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Initiate strategic projects such as new supplier sourcing, alternative material introduction and sustainable supply‑chain development.
• Achieve savings targets, manage the approved category budget and optimise total cost of ownership through consolidation, payment terms and logistics improvements.
• Conduct full‑cycle supplier search, evaluation and selection, ensuring compliance with business objectives and quality standards.
• Lead complex negotiations with international suppliers and conclude long‑term framework agreements.
• Monitor contract performance, manage risks and nurture long‑term partnerships.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, analyse requests critically and keep them engaged throughout the procurement cycle.
• Provide price forecasts and market trend insights for planning, budgeting and target setting.
• Collaborate with the global procurement function on regional initiatives and lead project teams within the assigned category.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, engineering or management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement.
• Willingness to travel frequently for business trips.
• Advanced English (C1) for daily communication.
