Systems Engineer - Bishkek

About the role

Fortinet, a cybersecurity company, is looking for a Systems Engineer to join its Systems Engineering team in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The role leads the technical side of sales cycles with customers, from initial requests for information through to RFPs and RFQs, and involves project management and active participation in proof-of-concept activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of a sales cycle, from RFIs through to RFPs and RFQs when required
• Manage projects and take part in POCs with internal teams, the customer and commercial partners
• Understand customer technical requirements and build solutions that outperform competitors
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, working closely with the sales partner
• Keep improving knowledge of Fortinet products and stay aware of the competitive landscape
• Present solutions remotely or in person, using whiteboards, technical white papers, technical plans and customer discussions
• Manage several deals at once while keeping a positive customer experience
• Maintain accurate activity, contact and account information in the CRM (Salesforce)

Required profile

• Experience in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals to technical closure
• Problem-solving skills that have contributed to key wins
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technically to external and internal stakeholders
• High aptitude for security technology; CISSP accreditation is beneficial
