Trainer on Capacity Building for Hotline Operators

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a consultant to deliver capacity‑building training for hotline operators supporting migrants under the UK Seasonal Workers Scheme. The assignment is based in Bishkek and will be carried out in a hybrid mode, combining online and in‑person sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training modules on safe migration, recruitment practices, rights and obligations for hotline staff.
• Provide practical guidance on gender‑sensitive communication and information dissemination.
• Develop training materials, job aids, and evaluation tools tailored to the Central Asia Safe Migration project.
• Support the Center for Employment Abroad in strengthening its consultation services (online, in‑person, WhatsApp).
• Monitor and report on training deliverables according to the consultancy agreement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in delivering training or capacity‑building programmes for migration‑related services.
• Familiarity with the UK Seasonal Workers Scheme and the migration context of Central Asia.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and meet agreed deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
