EPP III Patriot Generator Rebuild & HVAC Technician

About the role

The EPP III Patriot Generator Rebuild & HVAC Technician provides critical sustainment and field-level maintenance for 3 kW‑150 kW generators and HVAC systems supporting U.S. Army operations in Southwest Asia. This position combines hands‑on mechanical work with technical troubleshooting to ensure mission‑critical power availability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform overhaul, maintenance, and sustainment of 3 kW‑150 kW generators, including installation and removal from fixed and mobile locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair AC, DC, electronic control, and program logic systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, chillers, and environmental control units on trailers and vehicles.
• Operate load banks and dynometers for generator testing.
• Fabricate wire harnesses, solder terminals, and perform brazing of copper tubing.
• Work in both generator shop and field environments, adhering to safety and deployment requirements.
• Provide technical training to site operations and maintenance personnel.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within 12 months.
• Valid U.S. passport (minimum 2 years remaining) and driver’s license; international driver’s permit preferred.
• Pass all medical requirements for deployment to the CENTCOM Area of Operations.
• 6 + years related experience or equivalent education (High School + 6 yrs, AA/AS + 4 yrs, BA/BS + 2 yrs).
