About the role

We are looking for a freelance translator to create Kyrgyz subtitles for English‑language video content. The role supports our global media localization efforts, ensuring that viewers enjoy accurate and culturally‑appropriate subtitles.

Key responsibilities

• Translate English dialogue into clear, natural Kyrgyz subtitles.
• Maintain timing and synchronization with video tracks.
• Proofread and edit subtitles for linguistic accuracy and consistency.
• Deliver completed subtitle files within agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• Native‑level proficiency in both English and Kyrgyz, written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high translation quality.
• Previous experience in translation or proofreading, preferably in subtitling.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work under tight time constraints.
