Medical Scientific Liaison – Mexico & LATAM

About the role

Tempus is seeking a high‑performing, bilingual Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) to act as the primary scientific representative for Mexico and the broader Latin America region. The role combines deep oncology and molecular diagnostics expertise with a strong grasp of regional healthcare and reimbursement landscapes, supporting both local and global initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the subject‑matter expert on oncology, diagnostic, and reimbursement pathways across Mexico and LATAM (≈80% focus).
• Deliver proactive and reactive scientific communication about Tempus oncology products, diagnostic assays, and clinical utility data.
• Provide scientific, clinical, and health‑economic support materials to payors, institutions, and other stakeholders to aid market access and reimbursement.
• Support select global projects in other regions (EU, USA, Middle East, South Asia) and participate in worldwide Medical Affairs initiatives.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, researchers, and clinical decision‑makers.
• Act as the local liaison for healthcare and reimbursement stakeholders, ensuring compliant scientific exchange.

Required profile

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong communication skills.
• Deep clinical expertise in oncology and molecular diagnostics.
• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare and reimbursement environment in Mexico and LATAM.
• Ability to collaborate with commercial teams while adhering to Medical Affairs compliance.
• Flexibility to support projects in other global markets as needed.
