Generator/EPP III and HVAC Technician

About the role

The Generator/EPP III and HVAC Technician provides critical maintenance and support for military and commercial power generation and climate control equipment used by the U.S. Army across the Middle East. You will work both in a shop environment and on‑site at various locations, ensuring generators and HVAC systems operate reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and service 3 kW‑150 kW generators (50/60/400 Hz) and EPP III generators up to 150 kW.
• Perform installation, removal, overhaul, and sustainment of generators, including AC/DC systems, electronic controls, wiring, and switchgear.
• Repair HVAC units, chillers, and environmental control units on trailers, vehicles, and standalone installations.
• Maintain military‑spec generators, commercial power equipment, and UPS systems.
• Operate load banks for testing and fabricate wire harnesses with soldering and brazing.
• Work in both generator shop and field environments, following safety and security protocols.
• Provide training to site operations and maintenance personnel as needed.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• High School diploma (or equivalent higher education with relevant experience).
• 3+ years of experience with diesel generators, HVAC/R systems, and related electrical work.
• Certified HVAC/R Universal Technician and EPA certification.
• Willingness to travel to Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, and Iraq.
