GEDSI Lead – Gender Equality, Disability & Social Inclusion

About the role

The GEDSI Lead will support the Head of GEDSI & MEL in driving the day‑to‑day implementation of the SEAG2G programme’s GEDSI strategy. Working remotely with flexibility across Australia or Southeast Asia, the role ensures gender equality, disability inclusion and social inclusion are embedded in all programme activities, agreements and work plans.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the GEDSI strategy across SEAG2G thematic priorities.
• Provide technical guidance and capacity‑building advice to government partners and internal teams.
• Integrate GEDSI considerations into agency agreements, work plans and reporting frameworks.
• Support evidence‑based monitoring, learning and reporting on GEDSI outcomes.
• Collaborate with DT Global and DFAT stakeholders to identify and address GEDSI issues.

Required profile

• Experience in gender equality, disability inclusion or social inclusion within development programmes.
• Proven ability to work with government agencies and international partners.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
