Overseas Market Manager - Kazakhstan

About the role

An Overseas Market Manager is sought to develop and expand business in overseas markets, with a focus on the CIS region. The role covers market analysis, product promotion, customer and distributor relations and support for export business development. The position is based in Kazakhstan and requires Russian as a native or fluent language and conversational Chinese sufficient for business communication.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse information on overseas regional markets and competitors, and develop proposals for product promotion and increased market share.
• Maintain relationships with overseas manufacturers, distributors, key customers and other partners, promoting products and driving order growth.
• Coordinate with internal business teams to manage export orders, run competitor analysis and support product development and promotion abroad.
• Provide timely product flow information, coordinate service support for key customers and distributors and strengthen service support in overseas markets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Internal Combustion Engines, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing or a related field.
• Professional experience in R&D, sales or manufacturing related to internal combustion engines or mechanical engineering.
• Native or fluent Russian and conversational Chinese for business communication.
• Knowledge of the technical principles of internal combustion engines, new energy technologies and related fields.
• Understanding of product structure and technical specifications, and ability to analyse product competitiveness.
• Strong communication, coordination and teamwork skills; management experience is not required.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic Internet applications.
