About the role

Join Language Services Associates as a remote Mandinka interpreter, providing on‑demand telephone interpretation for Limited English Proficient callers. You will work from a quiet, secure space, delivering accurate language support across a variety of settings.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound interpretation calls promptly and professionally.
• Deliver clear, accurate telephonic interpretation between English and Mandinka.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct.
• Follow LSA’s interpretation protocols and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Full fluency in both English and Mandinka.
• At least 1 year of professional interpreting experience (preferred).
• Access to a quiet, secure workspace free from background noise.
• Ability to work independently and provide superior customer service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with web‑based platforms.
• Competence in email communication.
• Experience using Microsoft Word.
