Remote Quechua Interpreter

About the role

Join LSA’s network of independently contracted interpreters to provide telephonic Quechua interpretation services on demand. You will support Limited English Proficient (LEP) callers across various settings while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective telephonic remote interpreting for Quechua and English.
• Answer inbound calls promptly and deliver superior customer service.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct.
• Follow all LSA policies, professional interpretation protocols, and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Full fluency in both English and Quechua.
• At least 1 year of professional interpreting experience (preferred).
• Relevant certifications or trainings such as CMI, CCHI, Bridging the Gap, or Cross‑Cultural (preferred).
• Ability to work from a quiet, secure space free from external noise.

Required skills

• Proficiency with web‑based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable remote work environment.
