Remote Yiddish Interpreter

About the role

We are seeking fluent Yiddish interpreters to join our network of independently contracted professionals. In this remote, telephonic position you will facilitate communication for Limited English Proficient (LEP) callers across a variety of settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate, on‑demand telephone interpreting between English and Yiddish.
• Answer inbound calls promptly and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Follow the Code of Professional Conduct and uphold strict confidentiality standards.
• Adhere to all LSA policies, interpretation protocols, and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Full fluency in both English and Yiddish.
• At least 1 year of professional interpreting experience (preferred).
• Access to a quiet, secure interpreting space free from background noise.
• Technology‑savvy with ability to use web‑based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word.
