Senior SAP FI Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FI Consultant to lead functional workstreams for multi‑country rollouts. The role involves configuring, testing and localising core financial processes to meet statutory and tax requirements across emerging markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead core FI configuration (AR, AP, tax, postings, asset accounting) and validate invoice data flow.
• Support e‑Invoicing rollout together with compliance and DRC specialists.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, compliance teams and technical integration teams.
• Drive testing, defect resolution and deployment activities.
• Act as primary functional contact for client and integration teams.
• Gather requirements, write functional specifications and design solutions.
• Manage stakeholders and communicate across multi‑team project environments.
• Lead country‑specific rollout projects, handling statutory and tax localisation.

Required profile

• 8+ years of SAP FICO experience, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
• Proven experience in rollout or support projects in a senior functional role.
• Strong expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting.
• Knowledge of Cost Center, Profit Center and Internal Orders accounting.
• Understanding of tax determination, cross‑border tax logic and financial closing processes.
• Familiarity with API‑based and middleware integrations to external/government platforms.
