Supply Chain Head – International Retail Chain

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Head to lead end‑to‑end operations for an international retail chain in Kyrgyzstan. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost control across procurement, logistics, inventory, and process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships for food, beverage, and non‑food items.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory turnover, and waste to minimise spoilage and improve cost control.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement.
• Coordinate warehousing, transportation, and distribution, guaranteeing safe and on‑time delivery, especially for perishable goods.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene regulations, and company policies across suppliers and logistics.
• Implement and improve ERP and inventory management systems, driving continuous process optimisation.
• Work closely with operations, finance, and HR to align supply‑chain activities with overall business strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of supply planning, supplier management and logistics processes.
• Good working proficiency in English or Turkish (speaking, reading, writing).
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
