Customer Service Specialist

About the role

Sika, a specialty chemicals company active in Kazakhstan since 2005, is hiring a Customer Service Specialist in Bishkek. The role manages the end-to-end customer order fulfillment process, working with customers and internal teams such as Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Key Account Management, Warehouse and Transport to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process and follow up on customer orders throughout the fulfillment cycle
• Prepare reports for Supply and Demand Planning and Sales to support order feasibility, supply availability and customer management
• Identify and communicate risks of under-delivery or delays, and initiate credit limit checks
• Transfer orders to the Warehouse team and give the Transport team the information needed for timely delivery
• Coordinate transport and shipment planning
• Handle customer requests, inquiries and complaints, and support credit notes and returns
• Maintain customer master data and analyse data to spot issues and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues

Required profile

• Strong order management, coordination and organisational skills, able to handle multiple priorities
• Experience in Customer Service, Order Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales Support or a similar role is an advantage but not required
• Good communication, stakeholder management and customer-oriented mindset
• Intermediate English, sufficient for work-related information and written communication
• Transferable experience and motivation to learn are valued

Required skills

• Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
