Warehouse Operator (Storekeeper)

About the role

Sika Kyrgyzstan is looking for a Warehouse Operator (Storekeeper) in Bishkek. The role covers the accurate receipt, storage, handling, inventory control and dispatch of goods, ensuring that warehouse operations are safe, efficient and compliant with Sika standards, local regulations and quality requirements. It supports inventory accuracy, timely order fulfilment and good customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, finished products and packaging, check delivery documents against received quantities and specifications, and report discrepancies, damage or non-conformities to the Warehouse Manager.
• Store materials in designated locations, maintain product traceability and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO where applicable), perform cycle counts and assist in investigating inventory discrepancies.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders, verify quantities and batch numbers, load and unload vehicles safely and support on-time delivery.
• Follow HSEQ procedures, keep the warehouse clean and safe, use PPE correctly and report safety risks and incidents.
• Operate forklifts and pallet trucks according to training and certification, inspect equipment daily and handle chemical products and hazardous materials safely.

Required profile

• Secondary, vocational or technical education; additional warehouse or logistics training is an advantage.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing or distribution; experience with construction materials, chemicals or industrial products is preferred.
• Attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, organisation and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of warehouse and inventory management processes.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, warehouse systems).
