Founders Associate

About the role

Bolter is seeking a Founders Associate to work directly with the General Manager in a fast‑moving AI‑agent startup. The role blends strategy, operations, fundraising, partnership development and team building, giving you ownership of critical workstreams from conception to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end workstreams, turning strategic ideas into executed projects.
• Support fundraising and investor relations by preparing materials, coordinating diligence and keeping processes on track.
• Research, outreach and manage relationships with partners and operators to drive go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Assist in hiring by drafting role specifications, managing pipelines and coordinating interviews.
• Design and implement processes, trackers and systems that enable a small team to move quickly without losing visibility.
• Handle ad‑hoc analysis, coordination and decision‑making tasks that keep the company running smoothly.

Required profile

• Proven experience taking ownership of operational work in a startup, venture builder, consulting or investment environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and clear, first‑principles written communication.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to define problems without a brief.
• High agency, follow‑through and reliability in delivering results.
• Genuine interest in AI, venture building and early‑stage company growth.
• Ability to work directly with senior leaders and external partners.
