Generator Technician – Southwest Asia (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Generator Technician provides on‑site technical support for military and commercial power generation and HVAC equipment across Southwest Asia. The role supports the U.S. Army Worldwide Field Support contract, ensuring reliable operation of generators ranging from 3 kW to 150 kW and associated environmental control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on diesel generators, UPS, and HVAC/Chiller units.
• Install, remove, and relocate generators in fixed and mobile locations.
• Service AC/DC electrical systems, electronic control modules, wiring, and accessories.
• Operate load banks for testing and fabricate wire harnesses with soldered terminals.
• Maintain and repair parallel generator systems, switchgear, and refrigerant‑based environmental control units.
• Work both in a generator shop environment and in field locations across Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, and Iraq.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active Secret security clearance.
• Valid U.S. passport (minimum 2 years remaining), driver’s license and international driver’s permit.
• High School diploma (or equivalent) with 7 years experience, or AA/AS with 4 years, or BA/BS with 2 years of related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of generator and HVAC maintenance experience.
• Ability to meet CRC fitness standards for deployment.
• Section 608 EPA certification is a plus.
