About the role

Arabel is an AI-powered law firm serving businesses, startups and venture funds, combining legal expertise with experience in the IT and startup ecosystem. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Lawyer, Junior Lawyer or Legal Intern in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The role covers drafting, reviewing and revising contracts and other legal documents for business, startup and venture fund clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and revise contracts and other legal documents for business, startup and venture fund clients
• Conduct legal research, analyse regulatory requirements and prepare clear, practical memos and opinions
• Support due diligence processes and assist with corporate governance and transaction structuring
• Help implement AI-powered tools into daily legal workflows
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients, attend internal and client meetings, and maintain accurate documentation and case files

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); bar admission or eligibility preferred for lawyers, while current law students may apply for Legal Intern positions
• Interest or experience in technology, startups, venture capital and AI-driven tools, with willingness to learn new digital systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Russian and Kyrgyz are an advantage
• Strong attention to detail, ethical judgment and ability to manage several tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback and readiness to work on-site with a diverse, international team

Required skills

• Legal research and analytical skills, able to interpret laws, regulations and precedent and present findings clearly
• Proficiency in drafting, reviewing and editing contracts, corporate documents and other business-related legal materials
