Network Manager II

About the role

Transform technology into opportunity as a Network Manager II with GDIT. You will design, maintain, and operate medium to large enterprise networks supporting voice, video, and data communications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, administer, and support voice, video, and data communications networks.
• Manage network usage, performance, and security compliance.
• Evaluate hardware and software, develop network procedures and standards, and lead major installations and upgrades.
• Interface with vendors to resolve outages and performance issues.
• Develop testing strategies, document results, and provide end‑user training.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems and participate in special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of network administration and support experience.
• Intermediate experience with military networks, Cisco routing and switching, and network performance analysis.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Required skills

• Cisco routing and switching technologies (CCNP level).
• Network performance analysis and troubleshooting.
• Cisco IOS configuration.
• Voice, video, and data communications network management.
• Network security compliance.
