About the role

Echeng Hotel Management is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to take full ownership of an overseas property, guiding it from pre‑opening through launch and steady‑state operations. You will build and lead a cross‑cultural team, interpret the local market, and ensure the brand delivers consistent service standards on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the complete property lifecycle: pre‑opening, launch, and day‑to‑day operations.
• Conduct in‑depth market analysis and develop competitive strategies and business plans.
• Recruit, develop, and manage a multicultural team while upholding brand service standards.
• Maintain relationships with local authorities, partners, and guests; manage incidents, crisis communications, and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of operations management experience within a chain hotel group.
• Strong cross‑cultural communication, business acumen, and leadership abilities.
• Proven decision‑making skills, capable of motivating teams and resolving conflicts in diverse environments.
• Willingness to commit to long‑term overseas assignments and thrive under pressure.

Required skills

• Working proficiency in Chinese.
• Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
