Packaging Electrician – Level 2

About the role

We are looking for a Packaging Electrician – Level 2 to provide artisan electrical expertise on our packaging lines. The role supports shift teams, ensures machine reliability, and contributes to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist support to shift‑based teams during operations, including standby and day‑shift assistance.
• Act as functional expert in problem‑solving, offering guidance on machine operation and fault finding.
• Coach and mentor operators and artisans, transferring knowledge of machine handling.
• Participate in regional and central plant optimisation trials.
• Contribute to maintenance planning meetings and execute planned, routine, and opportunistic maintenance tasks.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication, inspection and autonomous operations according to the maintenance schedule.
• Complete all related administration in SAP, SIGGA and Problem Terminator, and report outcomes of maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Proven artisan electrical skills applied to packaging equipment.
• Ability to work effectively with shift‑based teams and provide clear technical guidance.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to mentor colleagues.
• Experience assessing operator capabilities and participating in optimisation projects.
• Good documentation habits and familiarity with maintenance administration.
