About the role
The key purpose of this role is to provide artisan skill and knowledge to the team, supporting operations, maintenance and problem‑solving activities in a shift‑based packaging environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide specialist support to shift teams during operations, including standby, day‑shift assistance, fault finding and coaching on machine operation.
- Participate in maintenance planning, execute routine and opportunistic maintenance tasks, complete related SAP and SIGGA documentation, and assist with post‑maintenance reviews.
- Analyse machine performance, conduct loss and waste analysis, and develop action plans to improve efficiency.
- Ensure safe work practices, perform housekeeping, and apply 5S principles throughout the shift.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
- Ability to work shifts with minimal supervision, physically fit and self‑starter.
- HND or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Advanced Certificate in Electrical Engineering, and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Required skills
- Electrical engineering knowledge.
- Proficiency with SAP.
- Experience using SIGGA and Problem Terminator tools.
- Machine fault‑finding and maintenance techniques.
