About the role

The Primary School Science Teacher will design and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate science lessons for primary learners, following the Cambridge curriculum. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on fostering curiosity through hands‑on experiments and inquiry‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement units of inquiry aligned with Cambridge standards.
• Prepare instructional materials and practical activities for experiments.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events.
• Communicate regularly with families about student development.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in teaching and elementary education with experience in primary‑level science instruction.
• Proficiency in curriculum development and education practices.
• Excellent communication skills for classroom instruction and professional interaction.
• Relevant university degree in Education, Primary/Elementary Education, Science Education, or a related field.
• Experience with international or Cambridge curricula and inquiry‑based learning is highly beneficial.
• Ability to create an inclusive, student‑centered classroom.
• Strong classroom management, organization, and lesson‑planning skills.
