Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, build and maintain automated deployment pipelines for our client’s public Azure environments. You will work closely with development teams to improve efficiency, reliability and security of cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and validate Azure Resource Manager templates, JSON files and BICEP scripts for IaC deployments.
• Maintain source‑control and change‑management processes for all infrastructure code.
• Document deployments, create resource diagrams and maintain naming conventions.
• Assist teams in configuring CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including service‑principal setup.
• Manage PowerShell and Azure CLI scripts, handling credentials securely with Azure Key Vault.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IaC deployment errors and private endpoint connectivity issues.
• Identify automation improvement opportunities and implement approved changes.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to keep the automation stack up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an infrastructure or cloud‑operations environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and systematic thinking.
• Proficiency in English at B2+ level.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work effectively within a team.

Required skills

• Azure Infrastructure as Code – ARM templates, BICEP, Template Specs.
• Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD configuration.
• Azure services: Policy, Virtual Networks, NSG, Application Gateways, Logic Apps, Function Apps.
• JSON scripting and REST API usage.
• PowerShell, Azure CLI.
• Azure Key Vault for secret management.
