About the role

Standard Bank Group is launching its International Graduate Traineeship Programme for 2027. The programme is designed for recent graduates and early‑career professionals who want to start a career in banking, finance, technology, risk management, data analytics or operations across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate through core banking functions, fintech initiatives, risk and analytics teams.
• Support day‑to‑day operations and project work in assigned business areas.
• Participate in structured training sessions and leadership development workshops.
• Collaborate with senior mentors to deliver business solutions.

Required profile

• High‑performing recent graduate or final‑year university student.
• Degree in finance, economics, business, IT, computer science, data science, engineering, law, HR, marketing, risk management or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset and interest in the financial services sector.
