Manager, Personal Data Protection

About the role

The Manager, Personal Data Protection will lead the creation and implementation of policies, regulations and initiatives that ensure responsible data use and ethical AI across the organization. This position plays a pivotal role in building trust, fostering innovation and delivering value through effective data protection and AI governance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee development of data‑use policies, ethical AI frameworks and related regulatory initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws, AI governance standards and industry requirements.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, awareness campaigns and capacity‑building programmes to promote a culture of privacy and responsible AI.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to monitor emerging risks and adapt controls accordingly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in legal/compliance, public policy, information security or computer security systems is advantageous.
• Professional certifications in personal data protection, ISO27001, IAPP‑CIPP or other information‑security credentials are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, time‑management and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent research, analytical and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
