Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

The Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for deploying, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring the organization’s data network and converged infrastructure. This role ensures reliable WAN/LAN services, supports secure communications, and provides end‑user device assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and monitor WAN/LAN infrastructure and related network equipment.
• Implement and support routing and switching designs, including network encryption devices such as TACLANE for SIPRNet connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose outages, and escalate issues based on severity.
• Troubleshoot Wi‑Fi networks and connected devices.
• Provide end‑user support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and mobile devices.
• Administer user accounts, file permissions, and print queues.
• Maintain servers, software systems, and network hardware.
• Deliver IT Service Management (ITSM) support for incidents, problems, changes, service requests, and knowledge management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in network administration and security.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570.01M/DoDD 8140 IAT II certification (or equivalent).
• Ability to work in a secure environment handling classified information.
