About the role
Provide telephonic interpreting services for Kizigua speakers in the LSA network, supporting Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals across various settings.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls promptly and deliver effective remote interpreting.
- Maintain superior customer service and adhere to professional conduct and confidentiality standards.
- Follow all LSA policies, interpretation protocols, and industry best practices.
Required profile
- Full fluency in English and Kizigua.
- At least 1 year of professional interpreting experience (preferred).
- Access to a quiet, secure interpreting space free from external noise.
Required skills
- Proficiency with web‑based platforms.
- Competence in email communication.
- Experience using Microsoft Word.
