Junior Chinese Translator

About the role

Weichai Power Kazakhstan is seeking a motivated Junior Chinese Translator to support its operations in Bishkek. The role is ideal for final‑year university students or recent graduates with strong Chinese language skills who want to gain experience in an international industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oral interpretation between Chinese and local languages during meetings, negotiations and conferences.
• Translate business documents, correspondence, technical manuals and other company‑related materials.
• Assist Chinese employees and management in communicating with local colleagues and partners.
• Prepare, review and proofread translated content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support day‑to‑day translation needs of managers and staff across various departments.

Required profile

• Final‑year university student or recent graduate.
• Strong command of Chinese (both spoken and written).
• Good listening and comprehension skills in Chinese.
• Responsible, attentive, communicative and eager to learn.
• Interest in translation, international business and multicultural work environments.

Required skills

• Accurate conveyance of meaning and context when translating.
