National Programme Analyst – Communication & Innovation

About the role

The UNFPA Country Office in Kyrgyzstan is seeking a Communications and Innovation Analyst to lead external communication, advocacy and programme communication strategies. Reporting to the Head of Office, the analyst will work closely with programme, technical and operational teams to promote UNFPA’s mandate.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Country Office’s external communications, advocacy and programme communication plans.
• Monitor and analyse political, social and economic developments affecting UNFPA’s work and public perception.
• Identify opportunities for strategic communications interventions and recommend appropriate actions.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with internal staff, regional advisors and external partners, including other UN agencies.
• Provide advice on communication messaging, media engagement and advocacy initiatives.

Required profile

• Kyrgyzstan national.
• Experience in communications, advocacy or related fields within an international or development context.
• Strong analytical skills to assess environment and inform strategy.
• Ability to work under the guidance of the Head of Office and coordinate with diverse teams.
