About the role

We are looking for an experienced Trade Finance specialist to strengthen the bank’s expertise in documentary operations and international settlements. The senior manager will lead the structuring of documentary deals, expand the trade‑finance product line and define the methodology for handling international trade instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and support documentary operations such as letters of credit, bank guarantees and standby L/Cs.
• Analyze and accompany clients’ documentary transactions while ensuring compliance with local legislation and international rules.
• Develop and implement internal regulations, procedures and methodology for trade‑finance activities.
• Enhance the bank’s product expertise in international settlements.
• Advise corporate divisions on documentary deal structures and support branches and sales points in foreign economic activities.
• Monitor the documentary operations portfolio and control deal quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in bank trade finance or documentary operations.
• Hands‑on experience with letters of credit, bank guarantees and international settlements.
• Understanding of foreign economic activity and international trade contract structures.
• Knowledge of Kyrgyz Republic banking legislation and NBKR regulations.
• Familiarity with currency legislation and control.
• Ability to prepare official documents and business correspondence.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of international standards: UCP 600, URDG 758, ISP98.
• Experience drafting internal regulatory documents.
• Experience structuring complex export‑import transactions.
• Experience interacting with international banks and correspondent accounts.
