About the role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our credit department as a Lead Specialist / Chief Credit Manager. The role covers the entire credit lifecycle, from attracting and evaluating potential borrowers to monitoring the credit portfolio and ensuring compliance with Kyrgyz banking regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and conduct marketing activities to attract potential clients.
• Consult clients on loan options and recommend suitable bank credit products.
• Calculate loan amounts, repayment schedules and process loan applications.
• Collect and verify required documentation in line with bank policies.
• Perform on‑site visits to assess client’s business premises and conduct financial‑economic analysis.
• Assess borrower credit risk, assign ratings and prepare financial summaries for the Credit Committee.
• Review collateral documentation, coordinate with legal and collateral departments, and prepare valuation reports.
• Present loan proposals to the appropriate Credit Committee level for decision.
• Transfer approved dossiers to the loan‑servicing team and monitor ongoing loans.
• Handle overdue or problematic loans together with senior management and prepare related reports.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in the financial‑banking sector, including a minimum of 3 months in credit.
• Knowledge of Kyrgyz banking legislation, regulatory acts and internal bank procedures.
• Logical thinking, ability to evaluate client reliability and take responsibility for decisions.
• Fluent in Kyrgyz and Russian languages.
• Strong communication, tact, responsibility and adherence to banking principles.
