Programme Support Intern – Migration Policy & Data Unit

About the role

The Migration Policy and Data Unit of the International Organization for Migration is seeking a Programme Support Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in an international, multicultural environment while supporting the implementation of migration‑related programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide logistical and administrative assistance for unit events and initiatives.
• Support day‑to‑day operational activities in coordination with unit staff.
• Attend internal meetings and contribute to discussions on operational matters.
• Liaise with IOM partners on activities relevant to the unit’s work.
• Assist in preparing situational updates, statistical reports and other programme documentation.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the Programme Coordinator.

Required profile

• Between 20 and 36 years of age.
• Less than two years of relevant work experience.
• Enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree programme or graduated within the last 12 months.
• Strong interest in migration policy, data analysis or international cooperation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
