National Consultant – Women’s Economic Empowerment

About the role

UN Women is seeking a National Consultant to support the implementation of its Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) portfolio in Kyrgyzstan. The consultant will work under the guidance of the WEE/Partnerships Specialist and collaborate with the UN Women team and project partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide substantive inputs to programme implementation, monitoring and reporting for the WEE portfolio.
• Support the execution of the project “Strengthening Women’s Economic Empowerment through Digital Skills…”.
• Coordinate with UN Women staff, partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with national gender strategies.
• Assist in preparing reports, data collection tools and documentation related to WEE activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in gender equality or women’s economic empowerment programmes.
• Familiarity with UN Women policies, rules and procedures.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and coordinate with national stakeholders.
