SharePoint Administrator / Knowledge Management Specialist

About the role

GDIT is seeking a SharePoint Administrator / Knowledge Management Specialist to support AFCENT under the Communications Technical Support Services contract. You will design, maintain, and operate medium to large SharePoint farms while driving knowledge‑management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and administer SharePoint infrastructure and related technologies.
• Create custom workflows and automate business processes.
• Perform system implementation tasks including conceptual design, detailed configuration, testing, and documentation.
• Review and recommend software applications and hardware components.
• Manage system monitoring, sustainment, and hardware repair for servers, PCs, and peripherals.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience with SharePoint farm design, maintenance, and operation.
• Strong business‑process analysis and mapping skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft SharePoint and SharePoint Server administration.
• Knowledge Management concepts and tools.
• Custom workflow development.
• Azure AI Fundamentals (knowledge).
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• ITIL v4 Foundation.
• Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) preferred.
